The practice behind
the institution.

An institute is only as credible as the practice it is built on. Oasis Institute is founded on one of the more unusual careers in the field.

Neera Grover has spent more than thirty years working across the systems that shape human wellbeing: from frontline nursing in the Indian Army, to health education and Ministry of Health consultancy in New Zealand, to two decades of mindfulness teaching and structured children's programmes.

Across every setting, whether patients, students, families, professionals or children, the same pattern recurred: people do not experience isolated problems, and support organised around single symptoms consistently fell short. That observation, tested repeatedly over three decades, became the MABERT model and the founding thesis of the Institute.
